Did you think that heroic cheerleaders only appeared on “Heroes”? Think again. A 16-year-old cheerleader named Kealey Oliver tackled a would-be thief at a Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma!
It happened when the Kealey was talking over the phone. She noticed that a man appearing to be a thief was running towards her. Kealey put the call on hold for a second to block the path of the man and tackled him, bringing him to the ground.
“If I would have thought about it, I probably wouldn’t have done it,” Oliver said to Koco.com “I was like, ‘Hang on, Mom,’ and I like put the phone down. And when he got close to me, I just got in his way and like grabbed him, and he kept trying to run, so I just slammed him on the ground.”
Kealey was wearing a strapless dress at all times, good thing it didn’t fell off… Luckily Kealey Oliver only walked away with a bruised knee and a scratch on her arm!
